The 2022 growing season began with an unusually warm spring and early bud break. Summer's intensity culminated in a heat wave that harvest was concentrated, expressive, and full of promise.

Winemaker Notes

From hundreds of barrels, a select few distinguished themselves through exceptional concentration, finely knit tannins, and a depth that revealed new dimensions with every evaluation. These 10 barrels were hand-selected for the character they expressed—rich, powerful, and undeniably compelling. This wine is crafted for the connoisseur ready to challenge their perception of bold. Its structure is commanding yet controlled, with a full-bodied presence that remains balanced by dark, layered fruit. Each sip unfolds with increasing complexity, reflecting the meticulous selection that went into it.
